Tony Hawk Pro skater HD is the 1st of 5 arcade games of summer featured
on Xbox live this year. Tony Hawk was a series that ruled on the
original Playstation, and N64 era, This HD remake of the first two
titles brings back all the fun with a welcoming nostalgic feeling featuring 7 different locals from the original games, classic
soundtrack, tight controls and essentially reclaiming the skateboarding
throne this HD collection is a must buy.

THPS: HD looks great and plays
great,
The graphics have been updated to standard current gen which isn't so bad considering the $15 Price tag, Menu's are easy to
navigate through and the addition to online play is welcoming new modes, and online play add to the experience,
not all skaters from the
original games return to this HD remake, and there is no character
creation option, instead you use your Xbox Live avatar which looks cool.
Gameplay:
The game plays like what a Tony
Hawk game should play like, fun over the top tony hawk gaining massive
air, and landing impossible tricks.
The career mode will take veterans 2
Hours to complete most of the task, When you complete all task with one
skater you will unlock "Projective" which will really test your skill. It's a shame that there is NO split screen option all multi-player is
done online, A bummer but not to much to harbor your experience. A new
game mode "Big Head" is a fun mode to test your skill to constantly land
tricks over and over without bailing, As time passes your head grows
until it well blows up as you land tricks you head shrinks, bail and
the growth rate speeds up the soundtrack returns only missing a few
but some new additions fit right at home.
Closing Comments:
Tony Hawk Pro skater HD is a
fun remake of 2 great games, and a perfect opportunity to fully rebut
the series, Nostalgia can be a good feeling or one that you just want
to forget in this games case it only kept me going until I unlocked
everything with each skater, This game is a great buy and for only $15
its a steal

I'm giving Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD
an 8.5/10 Fans of the series who watched it go down the drain should
really consider buying this remaking of a classic, Or those who never
played a Tony Hawk game this is a game to start with.
