Amy Winehouse – Lioness: Hidden Treasures (Album Cover & Track List)
December 5th the late great Amy Winehouse will release her third studio album where many of her fans will rejoice and enjoy the quality of her music, this
titled Lioness: Hidden Treasures via Island Records. This 12 track collection features previously unreleased tracks, alternate versions of existing classics and a few new compositions which have been compiled by good friends & musical partners Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson also a track is featured with Nas
“Our Day Will Come (Reggae Version)” – reggae re-working of classic 60’s doo wop song produced by Salaam Remi. Recorded May 2002.
“Between The Cheats” – new Amy composition recorded in London in May 2008 for potential inclusion on album three produced by Salaam Remi.
“Tears Dry” – originally written by Amy as a ballad, this is the original version she recorded in November 2005 in Miami with Salaam. The later uptempo version appears on “Back To Black”.
“Wake Up Alone” – the first song recorded for the “Back To Black” sessions. This is the one-take demo recorded in March 2006 by Paul O’Duffy.
“Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” – Amy’s beautiful reading of the Carole King written Shirelles classic. Produced by Mark Ronson and featuring the Dap Kings with string arrangements by Chris Elliott who did all the strings for Mark’s tracks on “Back To Black”. Recorded in September 2004.
“Valerie” – one of Amy’s jukebox favourites. This is the original slower tempo version of the Mark Ronson produced post “Back To Black” single. Recorded in December 2006.
“Like Smoke” featuring NAS – Amy and Nas became really good friends after Amy name checked the New York rapper on “Back To Black’s” “Me & Mr Jones”. “Like Smoke” is finally Amy doing a song with one of her favourite artists. Produced by Salaam Remi. Recorded in May 2008.
“The Girl From Ipanema” – the first song the 18 year old Amy sang when she first went to Miami to record with Salaam. Salaam remarked that “the way she re-interpreted this bossa nova classic made me realise that I was dealing with a very special talent. Her approach to the song was so young and fresh, it really inspired the rest of our sessions.” Recorded in May 2002.
“Halftime” – Amy had talked to Ahmir ‘Questlove’ Thompson of the Roots about working together. “Halftime” is a song that Amy and Salaam had worked on since the Frank sessions. The result is beautiful. Recorded in August 2002.
“Best Friends” – “Frank” era live set opener produced by Salaam Remi. Probably the first song that early Amy fans would have heard live. Recorded in February 2003.
“Body & Soul” with Tony Bennett – cover of 30’s jazz standard with hero Tony Bennett. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios London in March 2011 and produced by Phil Ramone. Amy’s final studio recording.
“A Song For You” – heartbreaking and emotional version of the Leon Russell classic made famous by Donny Hathaway. Hathaway was Amy’s all-time favourite artist and the song was recorded in one take, just Amy and her guitar, at her home in London during the spring of 2009 as she battled her demons. Produced by Salaam Remi

UFC 137 Post Fight Press Conference
After this past weekend Nick Diaz might have just shut up a lot of haters but dismantling B.J. Penn, As a BJ Penn fan he showed a lot of heart but Diaz stole his soul, with this said he called out GSP and said that he has a fake injury and he does not want to fight anybody at the moment, In my opinion it's kinda fishy that GSP pulls out of a fight with Carlos Condit for the welterweight title but now since Carlos has pulled out the fight for good faith against GSP Nick will get his title shot against GSP in February Super Bowl weekend

NBA 2K12 Online Issues Finally Explained
NBA 2K12′s online issues have been a hot topic as soon as the game released and there were issues. Players complained about random disconnects, not being able to get a game started, and several other issues. And then there were are the issues with My Player mode but I won’t get into that here. It seems that more than the issues players have been experiencing online with NBA 2K12, players have been getting frustrated with the 2K Sports lack of information about what the issue is and how they plan to get it. Even though it may be a little late for some, 2K Sports has finally came out and acknowledged what could possibly be the culprit in an interview with Kotaku
It seems all the problems this year stem from the little known fact, until now that is, that Visual Concepts decided that this year was the right time to completely rewrite the online codebase for the modern. The old code has powered the online portion of the 2K franchise dating back to its days on Dreamcast (which I actually owned and loved by the way). Rather than try to explain this ourselves, we will let Jeff Thomas, the director of development at Visual Concepts explain.
So there you have it folks, blame it on the new codebase. While it sucks that it has to happen at all, this should mean that the online experience in NBA 2K going forward should be much better. Ultimately, we would wish that developers could get out all the bugs before a game releases but with these yearly sports titles it almost guarantees that games will see issues when they make major code adjustments rather than making tweaks to an existing code base. I have written in the past about the need for a two developer team for yearly sports titles, similar to what they do with the Call Of Duty franchise. If they did this then it would allow them to make major overhauls to a game’s codebase when they needed to without having to put players through these growing pains. As a fan of the NBA 2K franchise this doesn’t really make me feel any better but I am glad to finally know what has behind all the issues and to know why Crews didn’t make it in the game this year.
Going into NBA 2K12 the code was still the same code from the modem days of the Dreamcast,” Thomas said. Added-on and modified to account for broadband communications and other modern developments, it still was a relic from the old NFL 2K1 days, the first sports console title with online multiplayer capability. Though fondly recalled for dazzling celebrities at the 2K booth at E3 10 years ago, it had to go. This was the year to do it, 2K Sports decided.
The decision to change online codebases affected everything about the game’s online offerings. As this would be a first run, Thomas directed the team to remove complex features that, although manageable in the old creaky architecture, couldn’t be integrated with the new code in time for the game’s shipping date—which, of course, is set by the NBA…..Though Thomas cannot promise anything, he also sincerely did not rule out My Crew’s return in future editions, attributing its absence in NBA 2K12 solely to the new codebase.
So what do you think folks, do you understand all the issues or is this just unacceptable?

50 Cent Public Service Announcement #2
6 days ago 50 Cent dropped Public Service Announcement #1
Today 50 has brought us #2 view below
How fu*ked up that we have evidence that the big Banks have been corrupt, yet our governments aren’t punishing those that have stolen from the pension funds.
Our Politicians are puppets for whoever pays them into office. That’s how fu*ked our system is. Their broken promises for change cant happen especially when the system is corrupt
And children who need a meal go without because our politicians won’t stop thinking of themselves long enough or how to win the next election, too look around them and see how bad it is.
You aren't helping Mr politician, things are getting worse here in the US, in Europe, Africa everywhere!
Im fu*kn angry that Children are dying everyday.
There’s hard working people out there who do give a sh*t.
Problem is those with the power – government and big business, want this system to keep going. Its suits them
I don’t want to do business with these fu*kers anymore. Do you?
if a company isn't giving back, stop buying from them. Buy a pair of shoes from TOMS (who give another pair to someone in need), look for companies that aren't paying lip service to community / charity
we are more powerful than the big business and politicians realize......we have the power to stop buying their products, banking with them.
your dollar, that you worked hard for, does have power.
together we can say – WAKE UP A-HOLES! The game is over.
50 cent
- want to shout out to Occupy Wall Street groups around the world. You are waking up the world, including me. Please keep up the peaceful protest, you are making a difference.
